The Frog Golf Course, Villa Rica, Georgia

The Frog Golf Club, located just west of Atlanta in Villa Rica, is a celebrated Tom Fazio design that opened in 1998. Set on over 240 acres of former farmland, the par-72 layout stretches more than 7,000 yards and is known for its wide, flowing fairways, strategic bunkering, and large, undulating bentgrass greens. The course weaves through wetlands, hardwood stands, and native grasses, creating both beauty and challenge in a classic Fazio style. Recognized as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, The Frog emphasizes environmental stewardship as much as playability. In recent years, renovation work by Bill Bergin has refined bunkers, improved drainage, and enhanced conditioning.
