View a text list of all courses in the Archive here The Golf Course Archive is a comprehensive record of more than sixteen years spent photographing the places where the game of golf is enjoyed. What began as a professional resource for architects, designers, and art consultants has grown into an extensive visual archive encompassing over 250 individual photo shoots across 26 states and 7 countries. Today, the collection includes roughly 15,000 images, ranging from quiet rural municipal courses to iconic resorts and some of the most highly regarded private clubs in the world. The archive reflects not only the diversity of golf itself, but the many ways it inhabits the landscape — through light, weather, architecture, and moments that often pass unnoticed. Some images are bold and dramatic; others are subtle, restrained, and contemplative. Together, they form a broad and authentic portrait of the game as it is played and experienced around the world.Because this collection is intended to be a complete record of my golf course work, you'll find much more than golf course shots here. I regularly photograph architecture... both interiors and exteriors... wildlife and lifestyle during the course of a golf club shoot. My intention is to capture the spirit of a club, not just it's golf course.
The Golf Course Archive continues to serve professional design and consulting projects, with digital image licensing and file delivery available by request. At the same time, it remains open to collectors, club members, and anyone who simply enjoys exploring the photography more deeply. Select images are available as finished prints on fine art paper, gallery-wrapped canvas, or ChromaLuxe® metal.I encourage you to take your time here. Browse freely, follow your curiosity, and linger where something catches your eye. And if you have questions about image usage, licensing, or print options, I’m always happy to help.A NOTE: The Golf Course Archive brings together thousands of courses photographed by Dave Sansom, organized by state, country, and region. If you’re searching for a specific club or location, CAM can help you navigate the archive quickly. When you’re ready, you’ll find CAM’s chat icon in the lower right corner of the page.
