Sunrise / Sunset
There’s something about sunrise that gets me every time. The stillness, the sense of a clean slate, that quiet promise of the new day. I chase that feeling with every shoot—whether I’m on a golf course or standing in some wide-open landscape, I’m always there at least an hour before the sun even thinks about rising.
That early window, just before dawn, is magic. The blue hour creeps in, softening everything with this cool, delicate light. Then comes that moment when the sun finally crests the horizon, spilling gold across the scene, pulling out shadows, textures, depth—layers you can’t capture at any other time. These shots aren’t just pretty pictures. They’re the clearest reflection of why I do what I do. Sunrise isn’t just my favorite time to shoot. It’s when everything clicks—my eye, the light, the feeling. These are the moments I live for.
