Nestled on the edge of Charleston Harbor in Mount Pleasant, SC, Patriots Point Links is a stunning links-style public course designed by Willard C. Byrd and opened in 1979. This par‑72 championship layout features four sets of tees ranging from approximately 5,100 to 7,000 yards, making it playable and enjoyable for golfers of all levels. Its most memorable feature is the “Best Par‑3 in the Low Country”—a dramatic island green on the 17th with sweeping views of Fort Sumter, Shem Creek, and Charleston’s historic skyline. With ever-changing coastal breezes and panoramic vistas of the harbor, this course offers a uniquely scenic and strategic round of golf.
