Craft Farms Golf Resort, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Craft Farms Golf Resort in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is home to Cotton Creek and Cypress Bend, the only Arnold Palmer–designed courses in the state. I’ve photographed the resort twice, and each visit revealed new perspectives. Cotton Creek, opened in 1987, blends Southern charm with Palmer’s signature wide fairways and strategic bunkering. Cypress Bend, added in 1993, brings water into play on nearly every hole. Set among pines, oaks, and wetlands, the courses feel both natural and refined—a perfect canvas for golf and photography.
