Augusta Country Club, Augusta, Georgia
by Dave Sansom Photography
Few clubs I’ve photographed have meant as much to me as Augusta Country Club. Sitting just next door to Augusta National, it's a course that quietly stands on its own — exceptional in its design and in the level of care it receives. In terms of conditioning and attention to detail, it’s as good as it gets.
I’ve had the privilege of photographing Augusta Country Club on multiple occasions, and each visit has been a highlight. There’s a sense of pride here that shows in every fairway, green, and edge — a place where excellence feels natural rather than forced. This collection reflects both my genuine affection for the club and my deep respect for the people who keep it at such a remarkably high standard.
