Yinhong No. 6 Golf Club, located in Beijing, was one of two clubs I photographed in 2014 during my first photo trip to China. It is a championship course designed by Rick Robbins, opening in the early 2000s as part of the city’s expanding golf landscape. Robbins crafted a par-72 layout that stretches across gently rolling terrain, blending wide fairways, sculpted bunkers, and water features with views of the surrounding countryside. Known for its strategic balance, the course remains playable for a variety of skill levels. In recent years, the Robbins & Associates design team has overseen bunker updates and turf improvements, ensuring Yinhong No. 6 continues to reflect Robbins’s original design vision while meeting modern standards.
