Westin Kierland Golf Club, Scottsdale, Arizona

Westin Kierland Golf Club, part of the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, is a 27-hole facility designed by Scott Miller and opened in 1996. The three nines—Ironwood, Acacia, and Mesquite—offer flexible combinations that showcase the beauty of the Sonoran Desert with sweeping fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and mountain backdrops. Miller’s design emphasizes playability while incorporating desert washes, bunkering, and water features to add strategy and variety. In recent years, renovation work by the Scottsdale-based Troon Golf agronomy and design team has focused on bunker restoration, turf improvements, and sustainability upgrades, ensuring Kierland remains one of Scottsdale’s top resort golf destinations.
