Troon North, Scottsdale, AZ

Troon North Golf Club, long considered the crown jewel of Scottsdale desert golf, features two acclaimed 18-hole courses: the Monument and the Pinnacle, both designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. Opened in the early 1990s, the layouts wind through the rugged Sonoran Desert, with fairways framed by giant granite boulders, arroyos, and towering saguaros. In 2007, Weiskopf returned to lead a significant renovation, blending and rerouting holes for better balance, modernizing bunkers, and refining green complexes to improve playability while preserving the courses’ natural drama. Today, Troon North remains one of Arizona’s premier desert golf destinations.
