The Standard Club, one of Atlanta’s oldest clubs, relocated to Johns Creek in 1987 with a championship course designed by Arthur Hills. At more than 7,100 yards, the par-72 layout moves through rolling terrain with tree-lined fairways, water features, and Hills’s signature bunkering. In 2005, Mike Riley of Arthur Hills/Steve Forrest & Associates led a renovation that rebuilt greens, modernized bunkers, and improved turf and drainage. I’ve enjoyed a long relationship with The Standard Club, capturing its beauty and challenge since 2016.
