The National at Ave Maria, Ave Maria, FL

The National at Ave Maria is a modern championship course designed by Gordon Lewis, one of Southwest Florida’s most prolific architects. Opened in 2020, the par-72 layout stretches over 7,300 yards from the tips, weaving through native wetlands, lakes, and carefully preserved natural areas that create both challenge and beauty. Wide fairways, bold bunkering, and large, undulating greens give it strategic variety while accommodating all levels of play with multiple teeing options. Still a relatively new course, The National has already gained attention for its excellent conditioning and thoughtful design, though no major renovations have yet been needed since its debut.
