The Legends at Chateau Elan, Braselton, Georgia

The Legends at Château Élan, a private members-only club in Braselton, Georgia, is the result of a rare collaborative design. In 1991, Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead, and Kathy Whitworth—true legends of the game—partnered with architect Denis Griffiths to shape this course. Each legend chose six of their favorite holes from around the world to help guide the design, with Griffiths crafting those influences into a unified layout. This unique blend of expertise and homage created an iconic course that celebrates the heritage and artistry of golf.
