2018 was a very exciting year in my photography career. It also had a bit of a bump in the road. I had a great list of top golf clubs to keep myself busy, and then planned a landscape shooting trip to Iceland to end the summer. As an afterthought, I reached out to several golf clubs in Iceland to see if there was any interest in my services, and three of them hired me! Iceland is astounding and I had a great time photographing them. But 9 days into the 3-week trip, the retina in my right eye detached and an emergency flight to Boston for eye surgery ended the adventure. The eye has healed well, and my work carries on. Next year, I'll return to Iceland to complete my trip!
