The Old Course at Omni Homestead Resort opened in 1892 and holds the distinction of featuring the oldest continuously used first tee in the United States. Initially a six-hole layout, it was expanded to nine holes by 1901 and ultimately transformed into an 18-hole course in 1913 by the legendary Donald Ross.
Spanning approximately 6,099 yards with a unique mix of six par‑3s, six par‑4s, and six par‑5s, the course offers variety and strategic depth. Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains, Old Course combines rich design heritage with historic charm—making it both a golfer’s delight and a living piece of American golf history.
