Mountain Falls Golf Club, Pahrump, Nevada

Mountain Falls Golf Club, located just 45 minutes southwest of the Las Vegas Strip, is a captivating 18-hole championship layout co-designed by Jack Nicklaus Design Group (front nine) and Cal Olsen Design (back nine) and opened in 2002. 

The course stretches over 7,000 yards from the tips (par‑72) and offers contrasting experiences: wide fairways with sweeping views up front and a more rugged, mature setting with native grasses, rock outcroppings, and elevation shifts on the back. 

I photographed Mountain Falls in 2021, capturing its desert-meets-parkland beauty, dramatic mountain vistas, and the strategic balance between visual drama and thoughtful playability. It stands out among Nevada courses for both design and experience.
