Midland Country Club, established in 1927, has been a focal point of Midland, Texas’s golf culture for nearly a century. In 1951, the club moved to its current location, unveiling a new 18-hole championship course designed by the legendary Ralph Plummer, known for iconic layouts like Champions Golf Club and Dallas Athletic Club. In 2015–16, under Weibring Wolfard Golf Design, it underwent a transformative renovation—restoring fairways, tees, greens, bunkers, and ponds to elevate playability while preserving Plummer’s timeless feel. Today, the course stretches nearly 7,500 yards, winding through native prairie grasses and mesquites with over 50 bunkers across 350 acres—offering a challenging yet beautifully scenic experience.
