Spread across 36 championship holes in Coachella Valley, Indian Wells Golf Resort features two remarkable courses—the Celebrity Course and the Players Course. I photographed them in 2023, with fresh snow on the mountains in the background. The Celebrity Course, designed by Clive Clark in 2006, weaves through desert landscapes with meandering streams and pristine ponds—earning its nickname, “Beauty”. The Players Course, crafted by John Fought, opened in 2007, and offers a bold, sculpted design with strategic bunkering and dramatic mountain views. In 2025, Fought began a thoughtful renovation—rerouting several key holes, refreshing bunkers, greens, and tees—to elevate playability and prepare for future championships.
