Golfklúbbur Mosfellsbær, Mosfellsbær, Iceland

Golfklúbbur Mosfellsbær was the first course I photographed in Iceland in 2018. My wife and I not only enjoyed the shoot but also became close friends with Gunnar Ingi Björnsson and his wife, Lena—wonderful people we still keep in touch with. On my first dawn session, though, I noticed flashing lights in my vision, an early sign of retinal detachment. I pushed through, photographing two more courses before my retina fully detached, forcing an emergency flight home for surgery!
