The Golf Club of Georgia’s Creekside Course, designed by Arthur Hills in 1993 and refined in 2015 by Bob Cupp, winds through wetlands along Big Creek with a subtle Low Country feel. Creekside is notably free of surrounding homes, giving it a secluded, almost back-country atmosphere that’s rare in suburban Atlanta.

Recent enhancements—including a full bunker restoration, improved water features, new teeing areas, refreshed cart paths, and overall beautification—have elevated the course while preserving its rugged character.

I’ve photographed both Creekside and Lakeside many times, in multiple seasons, and The Golf Club of Georgia has been one of my favorite clients over the years.
