The Golf Club of Georgia’s Lakeside Course, designed by Arthur Hills in 1991, is the more open and visually dramatic counterpart to Creekside, defined by broad fairways, expansive water features, and an easy, natural rhythm. A renovation by Bob Cupp in 2016 refreshed the greens and enhanced playability while preserving the course’s character.

Lakeside is a course where light, water, and scale truly shine. The 12th hole, in particular, ranks among my top three places anywhere in the world to photograph sunrise. I’ve returned often, in every season, and it remains one of the most rewarding courses I shoot.
