The South Course at Fort Lauderdale Country Club is a celebrated 18-hole layout established in 1926 as the city’s premier private golf course and one of South Florida’s earliest clubs. The original course was designed by Joseph A. Roseman, Hebert Charles Tippet, and George Richardson Sr. It was redesigned in 1991 by Charles Ankrom, with refinements in 2006 by designer Kipp Schulties. Set among tree-lined fairways and manicured landscapes, the par-72 course is known for its strategic challenge and classic style.
