Dunwoody Country Club’s classic 18-hole championship layout began with Willard C. Byrd in 1965 and has long been a cherished part of Atlanta’s golf scene. Over the decades, facilities and playability evolved, but it was Bill Bergin’s 2013 renovation that truly re-energized the course — thoughtfully opening up fairways, expanding greens, refining bunkers, and converting to MiniVerde bermudagrass, giving new life and visual drama to the rolling terrain. I always look forward to shooting Bergin’s work here — his renovations bring out the soul of this special classic.
