Cobblestone Golf Course, Acworth, Georgia

Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth, Georgia, designed by Ken Dye and opened in 1993, is one of metro Atlanta’s premier public courses. Set along Lake Acworth, it offers rolling fairways, tree-lined corridors, and lakefront holes that are both scenic and strategic. I photographed Cobblestone in 2021, and it remains one of my favorite public courses in the area. From early morning reflections on the water to late afternoon shadows emphasizing fairway contours, the course provides endless opportunities for striking, memorable images.
