Sunrise is my favorite time of day, and when I'm out taking photographs... whether on a golf course or in a national park... I'm always in place before the sun. In June this year, I had been asked by the club to shoot some new images of a few, select holes and once again I was in place about an hour before dawn. Since dawn and water work so well, I set up across from East Lake's island green, the 15th. This is what greeted me. As I always do as a sunrise develops, I shot a bracketed set of exposures every 2 or 3 minutes. This series of 21 shots began at 5:51AM, at the beginning of the Blue Hour, and continued until 6:49. It was one of the most beautiful hours of my life.
