Welcome to Dave Sansom Photography!
My philosophy, when it comes to golf course photography, can be boiled down to a brief phrase: Your Golf Course… Only Better. Every time I step onto a golf property, my goal and my singular focus is to provide my clients with the finest photographs I can produce... and hopefully, the best ever taken of their course. And even though that may sound a bit self-inflated, my track record is pretty good, as evidenced by what my clients have to say.
The purpose of this web site is to offer samples of my work, and give some insight into how and why I love the art of photography. My focus, per the paragraph above, is golf course photography. But that work has created opportunities to expand my scope to include landscapes, architecture and a sprinkling of events. I enjoy them all, but I'm most at home on a golf course. If only I were as good a player as I am a photographer…
For years, I've failed to put much energy into explaining what I do, who I do it for... and why. Frankly, I believe the images should speak for themselves. You like them or you don't. That's fine. But since both my techniques and my business model are a bit unusual, building this site so I can shine some light on my work and my business makes sense.
There are lots of photos on this web site but I hope you'll also visit my photo hosting site, which feature thousands of photos. I also have a new Blog HERE, where I talk about different aspects of my work. So drop back often. I'm still in the middle of building this site, and I have some surprises up my sleeve!
